Excellent Curriculum

HCA’s core curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in both academics and Christian values. Biblical integration into all classes is a priority. Most of our core curriculum is derived from Abeka, but we also utilize Ramsey Solutions (for financial literacy), Saxon Math, and BJU Press in high school. Together, these resources equip our students with critical thinking skills, practical knowledge, and a biblical worldview, preparing them for success both in school and in life.

Fostering Academic and Spiritual Growth

Academics

HCA offers a rigorous, Christ-centered academic program that is accredited by the American Association of Christian Schools. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire students, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for learning. With a focus on both academic excellence and spiritual growth, we prepare students for success in higher education and in life, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Students are also trained for college coursework via Learning Management Systems like Moodle and Google Classroom. They also are required to take dual enrollment coursework prior to graduation.

Fine Arts

HCA’s Fine Arts program nurtures creativity, self, and group expression through a variety of disciplines and training for students to better serve their local churches and communities. Daily elective classes, choir and music classes, and visual art classes help our students to fine-tune their gifts to glorify and serve God. Some of our electives/clubs are speech, debate, home economics, shop, writing, media, tech, and more!

Athletics

HCA’s athletics program is dedicated to developing both skill and character in our student-athletes. With a history of excellence, we are proud to have won multiple district and state championships. Our sports teams are expected to compete with Christ-likeness, grace, and dedication. They will learn values like teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Through athletic competition, we strive to build well-rounded students who excel both on the field and in life, reflecting the values of Christ in every victory and defeat.
